We took a little field trip on the 4th of July out to Pisgah Fish Hatchery. It brought back so many memories (good and bad!) of my days working out there! I really do miss it most of the time. Gracie got to feed the fish for the first time. Actually I think the smell of the fish feed was what brought most of those memories back! I think she liked throwing things in the water more than watching the fish eat. On the nature trail we saw some turkey, a coyote and a black bear (no they weren't real!) and then inside we saw more fish, lizards and snakes (they WERE real!). Gracie's main interest was focused on picking up sticks and thinking some of those sticks were snakes. She really had Scott on edge there!
